THE ESSENTIAL LIST OF THINGS TO BRING TO A CHILDREN’S PHOTO SESSION.

One of the most popular questions I get from parents of young children is what to bring to their children’s photo session. It doesn’t matter if you are booking a mini session or a fool one, there are certain necessities I recommend bringing with you.

⭕️ DIAPER BAG FOR BABIES.
Babies will need a fresh diaper right before or during the session. Or you may need a pacifier, a favorite toy, or a headband.

⭕️ CHANGE OF CLOTHES.
Bringing a few outfits for your child is very important. You can bring some extra clothes for you as well, even if you’re not in the pictures, because you may need a change at some point ))) For example, if you will be covered in a cake if it’s a cake smash 來

⭕️ WATER AND SNACKS.
I advise feeding your child about 30 minutes to an hour before the session, so your baby has a not too full tummy. But also bring with you your kid’s favorite snack (but, please, nothing too heavy or messy) and some water.

⭕️ ENTERTAINMENT.
Bring your child’s favorite toy. An item that can help them relax during the session. Don’t bring too many toys, just 1 or 2. If you bring too many that may lead to sensory overload, which can also cause tears.

⭕️ REWARD.
If your child is old enough for a reward after the session, why not? It can be a lollipop or a trip to a playground after the job is well done.

⭕️ ACCESSORIES.
Let me know ahead of time if you have a specific prop, accessory, or outfit in mind. Accessories look great in photos. Anything goes, bows, hats, headbands, bow ties, suspenders, jewelry, etc. I also have some things in my client closet.
