I do the newborn sessions ONLY in my in-home studio. There are a few reasons for that, but the most significant ones are the safety and comfort of babies.
It’s not unusual for a newborn session to last up to 4 hours. That gives lots of time for anything that needs to be done. For example diaper change, feeding, rocking or outfits change.
I keep the studio very warm. Usually the temperature is somewhere between 27 and 30゚C. That is a comfortable temperature for a newborn baby, especially if you plan to get them undressed.
When my clients are booking a newborn session with me, I sent them a giant letter with tips on how to prepare for their photo shoot. That letter contains such things as: what to bring, what outfits to wear for parents and siblings, how to keep the baby awake prior to the photo session and so on.
Interested in booking a newborn photo shoot with me? Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have. I am always here for you.
