How much time does a professional photographer or retoucher spend editing photos? Honestly, it depends on the project and the desired outcome. For me, as a perfectionist who values delivering only the best to my clients, editing a single photo can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours.
Why so long? Because great photography is more than just capturing a moment; it’s about enhancing its story, mood, and beauty. A quick filter doesn’t cut it for me. While some might deliver unedited photos after slapping on a preset—and still charge for it—I believe that’s unprofessional and undermines the craft.
Every photo you receive from me is carefully curated and retouched with attention to detail, ensuring it’s as stunning as the memory it represents.
