I’m gonna talk about MOST POPULAR MYTHS ABOUT BEING A BABY PHOTOGRAPHER πππ next couple of days, so stay tuned ))
YOU HAVE AN EASY AND RELAXING JOB ππ
I love my job so much. And I adore my little clients, and I love photographing them. But I should admit that sometimes it’s a stressful job.
Babies do what they want and a lot of the session is spent getting the baby comfortable – fed, changed and, most importantly, asleep.
It is common for a newborn session to last up to 4 hours, and we spend 2/3 of the time rocking, shushing and feeding the baby just to get the baby to a deep sleep and to get enough photos to make up the gallery.
So it’s physically and mentally demanding. You cannot be relaxed when you are responsible for a baby’s safety.
Sometimes I am so focused on what I’m doing that I even forget to breathe. It’s not unusual for me to get dizzy because of that. Especially now when we are wearing the masks. So no relaxation here! π
