When you are planning a photo session with your children you might be a little nervous. Especially when you’re having a newborn and you’re just out of the hospital. So here are a few tips that might come in handy.
✅️ Relax and have fun. If you’re stressed out your kids will usually pick up on it and act accordingly.
✅️ Make sure that your kids are well-rested and have had their naps. You might also want to bring some snacks and activities.
✅️ If you are having your pictures taken too then you might want to bring a babysitter or a family member along to watch the kids or take them home after the photos of the kids are done. Actually, this is a must when we are talking about newborn sessions because it takes up to 4 hours and usually the kids are getting tired and they don’t have enough patience to wait until we are done with the session.
✅️ Stay calm and don’t try to control the photo session too much. Is work with your photographer. Listen to your photographer. Sometimes when you think you know what is better, it’s not.
