WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISSED YOUR NEWBORN PHOTO SESSION? 😱😱😱

The situation is tough right now for everyone. Due to covid 19 regulations and the lockdown all photo studios are closed. Or at least they must be closed 🥺 And that means that every baby born in that period will not have any newborn pictures made by a professional photographer. Sad, but true. In the last few days I got 7 newborn photo sessions inquiries, and I had to say no 😔 That is why I decided to share with moms some tips on what to do If you missed your baby’s  1st photo session.

👉 Photograph your baby at home as much as you can and as often as possible. You don’t have to try to make your pictures look like professional ones. Try to capture some portraits of your newest addition to the family. Ask your partner to help you take some pictures while you are bathing the baby. Make some usual portraits with mom, dad holding the baby. Just make sure you’re capturing the baby’s face, as well make sure nothing is covering the face. Don’t forget to photograph all the details as close as possible – belly button, years, nose, fingers, hands and feet. If you will follow this advice, you will end up to save your memories and then you will be able to cherish them years later.

👉 Next step – book your milestone photo shoot with a professional photographer. (I really hope it will get better till then and I will be opening my studio again.) 1st milestone session can be done at the age of 3-4 months old. Discuss all the details with your photographer as soon as you can. Finalise the booking process and sign all the papers beforehand. You will not have to think about that when time comes to book a certain date and come to the studio to do your session.

I really hope my advices will help you 😊 Stay safe!
